An online perfume store with a "shop by scent" experience, Mobile Money checkout and delivery across Ghana.
The challenge
iSmellGood sold perfumes, mists and candles through Instagram and TikTok. With hundreds of products across a dozen brands, customers could not browse, and the team spent its day answering "what does this smell like?" in DMs.

What we built
- Shop by scentBrowse by how you want to smell (sweet, fresh, woody, floral, fruity) instead of by brand.
- Inspired-by matchingFind an affordable fragrance in the spirit of a designer favourite.
- Custom product pagesScent notes, size, longevity and delivery details, with an Add to Cart or WhatsApp order.
- Mobile Money checkoutMTN MoMo, Telecel Cash and AirtelTigo Money through Paystack, plus card.
- Bulk catalogueHundreds of products loaded by spreadsheet import instead of by hand.
- Light and darkThe store follows the visitor's phone setting.
Under the hood
WordPress and WooCommerce with free plugins only, so running costs stay low. Custom storefront, scent archive and product pages are built as lightweight code snippets on top of the theme, pulling live prices from the WooCommerce Store API.
