GH Bucketlist
A booking marketplace for things to do in Ghana: tours, stays, car rentals, handyman services and workspaces, with Mobile Money checkout.
The challenge
GHBucketlist built a following by showing people the best of Ghana on TikTok and Instagram: hidden gems, beach escapes, restaurants, adventures. But every recommendation ended in "DM us". There was nowhere to book, compare prices or pay, and every host was managed by hand.

What we built
- Several marketplaces in oneThings to do, stays, car rentals and handyman services each have their own search, filters and booking flow, under one account.
- Host dashboardHosts list experiences and properties, set ticket types and rates, and manage their bookings without going through the team.
- Rent a workspaceCoworking spaces priced hourly, daily, weekly or monthly, with desk-based availability.
- Bucket RewardsA loyalty programme that rewards repeat bookings and keeps travellers coming back.
- Paystack checkoutCard and Mobile Money payments, with bookings confirmed by the server so no one can double-book a slot.
- Admin consoleThe GHBucketlist team approves hosts, moderates listings and sees every booking in one place.
Under the hood
Built on Next.js with a Supabase Postgres database. Bookings run through a race-safe server function, so two people paying at the same second cannot take the same slot. Platform commission is a single flat rate, calculated server-side.
